THE LEGACY COLLECTION 2026 : 30 YEARS OF YALY COUTURE
A landmark collaboration between Ms Quynh’s Yaly Couture and South Africandesigner Casper Bosman on 12 December 2025, the ancient town of Hoi An, Vietnam, hosted a celebration of artistry and heritage as Ms Quynh’s Yaly Couture unveils The Legacy Collection: 30 Years of Yaly Couture, created in collaboration with internationally acclaimed South African designer Casper Bosman.
This milestone fashion event marks three decades of Ms Quynh’s Yaly Couturededication to craftsmanship and innovation — a story expressed through 85 couture looks, featuring 60 womenswear and 25 menswear designs.
Each piece in The Legacy Collection represents the union of Vietnamese artistry and South African design, merging hand embroidery, intricate beadwork, and sculptural tailoring into a contemporary expression of cultural storytelling.
The collection unfolds in five evocative chapters, each reflecting a distincte motion, mood, and creative philosophy.
CHAPTER 1: Dawn — Awakening
Chapter 1 opens the collection with a sense of quiet anticipation — the moment light breaks across Hoi An, revealing softness, clarity and new beginnings.
The palette reflects early morning tones: pale gold, washed ivory, misty blues and soft neutrals that feel ethereal and pure.
Silhouettes flow with ease: gentle draping, fluid skirts, soft tailoring and airy layers that move with the grace of first light.
Embellishments are delicate, almost whispered — subtle embroidery, tonal textures and fine handwork that invites the audience into the story with serenity.

The palette deepens: ember reds, volcanic blacks, molten metallics and rich jewel tones.
Textures become bolder — sculptural silhouettes, sharp tailoring, pleated volumes and draping that flickers like heat.Hand-embellishment intensifies through smouldering beadwork, flame-like appliqué and dynamic contrasts.

CHAPTER 3: Rooted — Earth & Heritage
Chapter 3 brings the show back to the soul of Hoi An — its heritage, its landscapes, its craftsmanship carried through generations.
This chapter is grounded, textural and deeply connected to the city’s history.
The palette draws from the earth: moss, bark, clay, stone, deep olive, and muted greens that echo Hoi An’s ancient walls and lush surroundings. Fabrics include textured linens, organzas, brocades, hand-woven elements and embroidered motifs inspired by roots, vines and organic structures.
Silhouettes feel anchored and sculptural — strong foundations with layered detailing, botanical embroidery and natural movement.
